principle
IMD is a technology that places printed and formed decorative sheets into an injection mold, and then injects resin onto the back of the formed sheet to integrate the resin with the sheet for curing and molding. IMD is a technology that involves adding decorations to inserts while injection molding. The product is integrated with decorative printing materials, allowing for the addition and printing of all three-dimensional shaped products, achieving both decorative and functional effects
IMD is actually a product made by molding and punching the printed film, embedding it in the cavity of an injection mold, and then injection molding it. It integrates printing, molding, molding, and injection molding technology, and comprehensively utilizes plastic sheets, ink, and plastic resins. The injection resin is combined with the ink layer on the back of the film, and the panel graphics and labels are placed between the film and the injection molded resin. The graphics and labels will not be worn due to friction or time.
