(1) Silicon steel plate is a material that is relatively easy to cut. Generally, for the purpose of cleaning the workpiece, low viscosity stamping oil is used to prevent the generation of cutting burrs.
(2) When selecting stamping oil for carbon steel plates, the optimal viscosity should be determined based on the difficulty of the process, the method of applying stretching oil, and degreasing.
(3) Galvanized steel plates may undergo chemical reactions with chlorine based additives, so when selecting stamping oil for galvanized steel plates, attention should be paid to the possibility of white rust caused by chlorine based stamping oil. However, using Yida Borun sulfur based stamping oil can avoid rusting, but degreasing should be done as soon as possible after stamping.
(4) Stainless steel plates are materials that are prone to hardening, requiring the use of high oil film strength and anti sintering tensile oil. Generally, stamping oil containing sulfur chlorine composite additives is used to ensure extreme pressure performance while avoiding problems such as burrs and fractures in the workpiece.
(5) Aluminum and aluminum alloy plates should not be used with stamping oil containing chlorine or sulfur additives. It is better to use stamping oil with a neutral pH value.
The stamping oil suitable for the forming of sheet metal parts in automobiles and motorcycles is a pressing plate forming oil, which can also be used for the stretching and rolling processing of stainless steel parts.
